The proclamation reads:

ONE LAPTOP PER CHILD DAY
In San Francisco!"

We are now accepting poster submissions! Some people have written and said that they would be unable to attend the community summit in San Francisco. If you can't make it to San Francisco, this is a good way for the others to know about your effort.

Call for proposals for OLPC San Francisco Community Summit 2012 is now open. Sessions will be on Saturday, Oct 20 and Sunday, Oct 21 2012.
Keep in mind that we are looking for workshop-style sessions, and not just slide presentations. The goal of the sessions is to present information and to work on problems. Think of other people who may be interested in working with you. Talk to them and put them on your proposals. Think constructive, not just instructive!
Let the ideas flow!

A picture is indeed worth a thousand words...and more.
We put together this coffee table book with 38 pictures from around the world. Only two copies were printed. These were raffled off and were won by Samuel J Klein and Terri Bucci. I saw SJ's copy in the Cambridge office. I hope Terri is enjoying hers.
